A confidential space to explore the thoughts, feelings and challenges in life
Sometimes we all need a safe space in which to slow down, breathe, and just be.
I am a qualified Humanistic Counsellor, registered with The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCS) and a member of The United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy (UKCP). I offer 1-2-1 counselling for individuals in London, both online and in-person.
I have experience of working with varying needs from managing career or relationship changes, to exploring identity and sexuality, along with supporting those managing the impact of trauma
Additional Trainings:
We don’t need to be in crisis to come to counselling. Sometimes we all need a space where we can speak freely, and in confidence. Counselling looks to provide a non judgmental space in which you feel safe to be seen and heard.
As a Humanistic therapist my approach centres around a belief that we are all inherently growth-oriented. Through empathy, presence and compassion, I hope to offer you space to explore whatever feels important or challenging right now, supporting you to better understand any feelings or thoughts that might seem messy or muddled.
My approach to therapy is relational, which means the pacing and content of our sessions is tailored to what you want or need. This is your time and I am here to help facilitate the space.
People seek therapy for a wide range of reasons. This list, though not exhaustive, gives an idea of the more common issues with which I work:
Depression
Anxiety
Low self-esteem
Trauma or post traumatic stress symptoms
Sexual Abuse
Childhood trauma
Panic attacks
Issues relating to sexuality
Issues relating to family
Career changes or challenges at work
Relationship problems
Grief, loss or bereavement
My practice is based across two practice centres in South London, with rooms in both Twickenham and Bexleyheath. Online therapy is also available.
Sessions typically last for 50 minutes, and are at the same time each week. I am open to more flexible arrangements which can be discussed at an initial consultation.
Prices are £60, with some concessional spaces available.
Please contact me by email to arrange an initial consultation, or if you have any questions.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about how counselling works, or to arrange an initial assessment appointment. This enables us to discuss the reasons you are thinking of coming to counselling, whether it could be helpful for you and whether I am the right therapist to help.
All enquires are usually answered within 48 hours, and all contact is strictly confidential and uses secure email services.
